Introduction: MineShafter is an Online utility that gives us the function to use Custom Skins during Multiplayer Session.This works when you use the Mineshafter Client(will be taught later).The other players must also use the client in order to see skin.
Tutorial:

1: Go to www.Minecraft.net

2:Create a free account there,If you already have one and has already been activated,skip to step 3.

3:Go to http://mineshafter.appspot.com/

4:Login the site using your Google Mail or Yahoo Mail account.

5:Hover your pointer over to your User Name (See Picture) and press Settings

6:On the settings page, Look at the "Connect Your Minecraft Account".Type in your Free Minecraft account ID there.(Don't Worry,its safe)

7:If you dont want to upload skins yet,skip this step!Otherwise, Look at the "Skin URL",In the box you will need to paste the skin link.

-You can go find skins here - http://www.planetminecraft.com/resources/skins/

-After you get the skin you wanted,Upload it to an image hosting site (http://imgur.com/ is recommended for the small image link)

-When the uploading is finished(almost instantly),copy the "Direct Link" to the image (eg: http://i.imgur.com/PELD6.png) and paste it into the "Mineshafter->Settings-> Skin URL" and then press [Set].A Picture of the skin will come out.

8:Now go to http://mineshafter.appspot.com/downloads

-Download the file named "Mine Shafter Client Proxy"which is 24.2kb.    (If you cant run the game with Mine Shafter Client Proxy,Download Windows Proxy Launcher,Read The Description For How To Use)

9:Now run the game using the Proxy Client you downloaded,Login using your "Connected Minecraft Account"(From MineShafter)

10:There you go!All set to go!You can change your skin by reading Step 7 again
